Proximity Flyers is designed to be a fun format of competition for real-world Wingsuiting skills and encourages small groups to work together and improve their skills in a challenging environment.

Competitors will aim to do 4 jumps on both days of this 2 day competition.
Format for both days: 4 Jumps of Speed or Distance.

Competitors will aim to do 4 jumps on both days of this 2 day competition.
Format for both days: 4 Jumps of Speed or Distance.
- Competitions flights will exit 90º to the standard jump run, providing a straight line flight back to the DZ.
- 3 competitors will compete for best Proximity Flyer while 1 competitor will fly as Base.
- Competitors will rotate positions so every competitor ends up flying 3 Proximity flights and 1 Base flight. Exit order will also be rotated.
- Best Proximity Flyer of each jump gets 100% score, other Proximity Flyers get a percentage score.
- Base is scored on the Average Speed or Distance flown as a group. The best Base from all groups will score 100%, the other Base scores get a percentage of the best Base score.
- Winners will be decided by adding all percentage scores from 3 Proximity Flights and 1 Base Flight of each task.
Speed Task: 60 seconds to fly as far as possible.

- Over-all Champions. 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
- Best Speed Base Flyer.
- Best Distance Base Flyer.
- Best Speed Proximity Flyer.
- Best Distance Proximity Flyer.

What you'll need:
- This competition is for Advanced sized suits such as the Freak or ATC. (You need to be able to fly well as a group to score well).
- Rig to be within Reserve Pack date of 6 months, with lead seal.
- DZ briefing and waivers to be completed before first day of competition.
- Solid Wingsuiting skills for flying in a tight group of 4 and comfortable at flying fast.
- A FUN loving attitude.. Don't go looking for ways to beat the system or shaft your fellow competitors!
Beginner's Category.
It is possible to run a Beginner category with a minimum of at least 3 Wingsuit Pilots in Swifts, so round up your friends!
